Microdosing Edibles: Start Low, Go Slow
Not everyone wants to be high. Many people — especially those using cannabis for wellness or medical reasons — just want a light, steady, functional effect. That is what microdosing is for.
What counts as a microdose
A microdose is roughly 1–2.5 mg of THC per serving. It is enough to take the edge off without impairment, and it is far more forgiving than guessing with a strong edible.
How to build a microdose recipe
Use only a small amount of infused fat and divide across many servings. Our green smoothie microdose (~3 mg) and chamomile CBD nightcap are built exactly this way. To design your own, open the Dosing Terminal, switch to "Hit a target dose", and set the target to 2–3 mg.
Consistency is everything
Mix infused batches thoroughly so the dose is even, and keep a simple log of what worked. With microdosing, the goal is a repeatable, gentle baseline — not a big experience.
